"This really is a fun website. My son couldn't wait to get home from school and check how his Piggy Fund was doing, it really made the run up to his birthday so much more exciting. He was pleased as punch when he received his new Nintendo Wii!" Sarah Masters
Portsmouth
"My family live in Australia, so this website is an ideal way for them to give towards something that my son would like for Christmas, like a bike or a laptop, and they can leave messages for him too!

"I used The Present Club to reward my son with his good behaviour. We set up a wish list together and chose a train set as his 'reward' present. Every time he worked hard at school or helped out at home, I secretly added £4 to his online 'Piggy Fund' and left a message detailing why I had contributed. He had a pleasant surprise when a month later his train set arrived!" Lydia Brown
Enfield
" I'd heard about this website and thought it was ideal for the people I work with as I'm a social worker. All the time the ex foster parents ask me if they could buy something for the children they used to foster on their birthday and this is the perfect way to give and keep in contact." Karen
Cambridge
When I was given a flyer from a friend I thought it was such a good idea that I set up a wish list for my daughter's 7th Birthday, she had invited 50 children from her year for her disco! I was DREADING taking home the presents as she has sooo much stuff already instead she received a Wii Console, 2 games and a new bike! Her brothers are so jealous, I will be doing it for them in the Spring!

My daughter recently received a Present Club invitation to her friend's birthday party. We found her friend's name easily on the website and contributed towards a Step2 play kitchen, which was great as I didn't have to go shopping!

Well done The Present Club on providing a first class service as well as keeping your prices very competitive. My son received his Nintendo DS the day after his Piggy Bank became full.

CREATING A WISH LIST
Q Can i just buy products like any other online store? A Absolutely we are primarily an online store with the added functionality of wish list contribution.
Q I’d like to create a wish list what do I do?
A Click on ‘Create a Wish List’ and fill out the registration form. This then takes you directly to your new profile page. Create a cartoon version of yourself and leave a message for friends and family looking at your Wish List. Example of a profile page.
Q Will i be able to keep my profile page forever?
A Yes, once you have set up your profile page you can use and edit it as many times as you like. Every year you can just log back in, update your messages, update your profile character then add your desired presents and start wishing all over again! You can refresh your profile page by deleting the old BOUGHT presents from your list the last time you used it.
Q Can I prioritise my presents?
A Yes, you can prioritise your products using the green arrows on the right hand side of your profile page. However once an item has been contributed to you can only delete the item so that the contributed amount will be instantly turned into Store Credit, the Store Credit can then be used on your preferred item. Your Store Credit will appear instantly in the area next to your profile photo and in the area beneath the basket.
Q How do I tell my friends and family about my wish list?
A) On your profile page there is an option to print your wish list or email it so you can send electronically or in the post! B) If you’re having a party you can design and print off the free invitations and send them in the post which have details of your wish list on. Just go to invitationson the top banner C) You can tell them! It will save them the trouble of trawling the shops and guessing what you’d like!
Q How do I know how close I am to receiving my present?
ALog in to your account and go to ‘Edit/View My Wish List’. Every item in your wish list has a ‘Piggy Fund’, the pinker and more smiley the pig becomes the closer you are to receiving your present! The exact amount contributed will also be displayed underneath the'PiggyFund'.
Q Will I be able to see who has contributed?
A Yes, if you log in to your account and go to ‘Edit/View My Wish List’ then click on ‘Messages and Contributions’ you will be able to see who has contributed to your Wish List and the amount, nobody else will be able to see who has contributed.
Q How do I know when a present has been bought for me?
A You will be able to tell as the ‘Piggy Fund’ will be fully pink and be giving a toothy grin, not to mention having BOUGHT stamped on it! You will also receive an email.
Q If I do not receive the full amount for the gift, what happens? A If after your birthday/event or Christmas you have a partially paid for present you can just delete the item and the money will be transferred into Store Credit to be spent on any product on www.thepresentclub.co.uk within a year from the date of the contribution. You will find the current balance of Store Credit next to your profile character on your profile page or underneath the basket area.
Q Can I change an item in my Wish List if it has already been contributed to? A You can delete an item that has been contributed to and the money will be instantly turned into Store Credit for you to spend on any present you should wish on www.thepresentclub.co.uk. Just click on ‘Spend Credit’ after you have chosen an item for your basket. However the system will not allow you to change priority of your present once it has been contributed to, you will just have to delete it and replace with another item.
Q Can a friend buy an item in my wish list all by themselves?
A Of course, they can click 'Buy This' on any item in your wish list.
Q Can a friend contribute to any present in my wish list?
A No, they will only be able to contribute to the items in the order you have placed them in, otherwise you could end up with lots of part paid presents.
Q Can I edit or delete items from my wish list?
A Yes, if you log in to your account and go to ‘Edit/View My Wish List’ under each item there is a delete button. If you would like to change the priority of your presents use the green arrows on the right hand side.
Q If i have a present that is partially paid for in my Wish List, will i be able to buy the balance of the present myself?
A Yes, first you must delete the partially paid for item in your Wish List, this will transfer the funds into Store Credit instantly. Then locate the item you want to buy and click on 'Add to Basket'. You will be able to spend your Store Credit at checkout and pay for the balance on your credit/debit card.
Q Can i put an 'OUT OF STOCK' item in my Wish List? A No, if an item is 'OUT OF STOCK' you will not be able to put in your Wish List.
Q An item in my Wish List has been partially contributed to and now it is 'OUT OF STOCK' what shall i do?

STORE CREDIT
Q What is a Store Credit?
A It is in effect an amount of credit you can spend on our website. The credit
will show to the right of your avatar on your profile page and underneath the basket area. Credit will be given for any of the following reasons:
a) You have returned an item that was bought for you as a gift
b) You didn’t receive the full amount required for an item in your Wish List
c) You didn’t have enough items in your Wish List when a friend or family
member wanted to contribute.
Q If I receive Store Credit how long do i have to spend it?
A One year from the date the money was initially spent on the website. If a friend /family member contributed to an item that you later returned you would receive Store Credit which will be valid for 1 year from the date we processed their credit/debit card details.
Q Can I have a gift voucher sent to me in the post instead of Store Credit?
A No, the credit is simply stored on your profile page.
Q How do I spend my Store Credit?
A In the following ways:
a) Choose an item and add to basket. Click on the ‘Spend Credit’ button.
If the Credit doesn’t cover the price of the item you will then be asked for credit/debit card details. On the other hand if you have more credit than the price of the item your Store Credit will be deducted accordingly.
b) If you have an item that has been partially contributed to and you would like to pay the balance of the item yourself, delete the partially contributed item so that the money is transferred instantly into Store Credit. Locate the item that you would like to buy and 'Add to Basket', the Store Credit will be available for you to spend at checkout.
Q Where will i find how much Store Credit i have?
A The Store Credit amount is shown to the right of your photo on your profile page and underneath the basket area. CONTRIBUTING
