Toy History
From as long ago as 6000 B.C games and toys such as chess have been a part of society. Games such as chess and checkers were thought to be first played by the Babylonians in 4000 B.C. Backgammon is known to have dated back to ancient Samaria in 3000 B.C.

The Egyptians were very fond of toys, around 4000 years ago they carved marbles out of stone. They also made dolls from string, paper, and other easy to find materials. Archaeologists have also found the remains of board games not dissimilar to the ones we know and love. Around the same time, the first ice skates, constructed of iron, were in use in Scandinavia.

The first recorded kites and yo-yos were first introduced in China around 1000 B.C, around the same time as playing cards were beginning to catch on in Asia.

The Didicar- How does it work?

The Didicar is powered solely by the wiggle of the steering wheel! It truly is a triumph of fun over physics.

Didicar is simple to operate and requires no batteries, there are no pedals, motors or other fuels and no greasy chains or complicated gears. Just add kids!

Sit on the Didicar, put your feet up and twist the steering wheel from left to right to see the Didicar start moving forward. The quicker you twist the more momentum you can build up! Just like a bumper car, flip the wheel 180° and the Didicar goes into reverse!

Didicar is not only limited to children. The sturdiness of the Didicar allows adults to join in the fun! The Didicar can take up to 100kg (or 220lbs) allowing children and parents to have fun together.

Didicar works best when used on smooth, hard, flat surfaces indoors or outside including concrete, tarmac or paved paths and other open areas.

Didicar is ideal for use in a play area in the home, in the garden or driveway or at a recreation centre, village hall, or school, where many can meet to enjoy racing their Didicar, some schools have even incorporated the Didicar into their Sports Day!

The Didicar comes in a range of colours including: pink, blue, red, purple and yellow.

The Micro Scooter- Why are Micro Scooters so popular?

From a cool concept to a global phenomenon. In 1999 Micro was unknown.
Today Micro is recognised as the leading scooter and kickboard manufacturer throughout the world.
No other designer has captured the world's imagination in so short a period or continued to deliver quality and innovation time and time again. There are scores of styles of Micro Scooters on the market today, therefore capturing the entire scooter market.
The Mini Micro Scooter, which is our biggest seller, was developed in 2004 with the help of Swiss medical experts and is an outstanding way to develop balance and independence. With a lightweight frame, rear brake and well balanced structure, the Mini Micro Scooters are an excellent scooter for children aged 3 - 5 years old. Fast, sturdy, stylish and easy to use, there is a reason the Mini Micro Scooter is one of the leading scooters on the market.

Featuring a stable, close to the ground, 3 wheel design and a simple t-bar steering mechanism the
Mini Micro scooter provides a high standard of safety for the rider. Lightweight and portable, the scooter comes apart in 2 pieces and can be easily transported in a suitcase or stored when not in use. As a parent you will be amazed at how quickly your child picks up, and even masters, 'scooting'.
